Auction Rules
1. Preview is between 8:00 am & 11:00 am. Bidding starts at 11:00 am. Everyone entering the lot must sign in on the preview sheet.
2. All bidders must sign in before the start of the auction. If you do not have your bid number in your hand you will not be allowed in the yard.
3. All bidders are required to leave a $100.00 cash deposit and their valid driver’s license to receive a bid number. ID cards are not accepted. Bidders must be 18 years or older.
4. Permanent bidders: (Wrecking yards and car dealers with current dealers license; proof required). If you are bidding for a wrecking yard or car dealer you must be listed as their authorized agent. ID is required. We will keep your ID on file. Licenses will be reviewed at the first of every year.
5. Bidders may have no more than 2 guests with them. Minors (children) count as guests. Guests will be listed under the bidders’ number. Guests are the responsibility of the bidder. Guests over 18 must sign in on the guest sign in sheet.
6. No children under 12 years of age are allowed in the yard at any time. Children 12 or older must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
7. At the close of the auction all bidders and guests are asked to proceed to the trailer for payment. Payment is required immediately following the auction, payment is accepted at any time during the auction. Staff will be at the trailer for one hour following the close of the auction. Bidders are in default if payment is not received before staff leaves the auction yard. Any bidder who defaults on a vehicle will lose the deposit and will not be allowed at future auctions.
8. All auctions are CASH ONLY. Auction vehicles are sold AS IS. There is no warranty express or implied. No trash or objects may be removed from any vehicle and left in the auction yard. If it is in the car, take it with you.
9. The gate will be open to remove vehicles until 8:00 pm Friday and from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Saturday & Sunday. Vehicles not removed by Sunday night will be charged storage.
10. DO NOT leave vehicles parked on the shoulder of the road. The City of Seattle will have them impounded.
11. Management reserves the right to ban any person or business from any auction.
12. To use available keys inquire at the trailer, a driver’s license is required. This privilege may be revoked at any time.
