Hey Jared, I just wanted to say that I’m sorry about your loss. Your dad was a good guy. Taught me a great job and had an impact on my life and future. Little things that contributed. Your brother, that guy was funny as ever, I will definately miss Brian. He was so crazy, but so fun to have around. I was gonna call you, but I knew that you have too much on your plate. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to call me. 360-402-7384.

I live in Olympia now, but not that far away.

Hi, Jared. I’m so sorry for your loss, my mother let me know. May our Lord comfort you in this hour of sorrow. Both your father and brother knew the Lord, he will take them into his loving embrace. It’s in Him we have the hope of resurrection and eternal life, never forget that. Blessings.

Jared, I was visiting Seattle from Southern California when I heard about the plain crash. It didn’t hit home until I realized that your father and brother were part of the family towing business. I currently am a LAPD Officer, and I was visiting my son (who recently moved to Seattle) and his girlfriend (who lives in Seattle) but prior to Law Enforcement, I too, owned a Tow Service with my father. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family in your time of loss from a Los Angeles Police Officer and my family.

    To the Storer Family:
It was my privelege to get to know your family through Seattle Christian School. When I heard of your loss I was telling Mrs. Inglis my memory of your Dad and she thought I should share it with you.

When your family first enrolled you children at SCS shortly afterwards you Dad came to my office to do something for his kids. (You were all very special to him) It seems that he never completed his work for his High School diploma and he wanted his kids to think better of him. I got the file out and sure enough there was the diploma with an attached note. He needed to take one more class. We got the Highline Community College catalog out and I found a class that would satisfy that class. Your Dad immediately enrolled and completed the class. When he has the correct paper work he came back and I had the privelege of giving him the diploma. A proud day for both myself and your Dad.

God be with all of you during this troubling time. He is our ever strength.

    Thinking and praying for you.

I had wanted to get up during the sharing time during the memorial service to say something but I just couldn’t keep it together so i’m going to share it now. The car I had before my present one use to stall out all the time. I called Burien Towing at least three times and I would request that Mark come and help me out. Each time he helped me out and generally I needed to be towed somewhere. So when he was writing up the bill he looked over at me and said “I had better give you 10% off or Lynette will kill me.” I so remember that even today and always laugh about it because he was very serious when he said it.

Remember the good times. They will get you all through the rough times. I can say that things will get better. Time does help. Be patient with yourselves, do things for yourselves - treats, give yourself space - time to greave; know that the first year is the toughest. You will survive this.

I didn’t know Mark well, however the two of us shared a table (for eight, but we were both late) at the seaplane banquet this past winter. I got to hear about his passion for flying and a bit about him. I was looking forward to getting to know him better, howegver that is not to be during this ‘flight’. My heart is with his family. He is missed.
