New Burien Towing Truck Almost Ready

January 14, 2009

Our newest tow truck is currently being built and should be finished this week. The Super Duty tow truck is another example of our continuing effort to keep a fleet of late-model, state-of-the-art trucks and equipment. The average life span for one of our light duty tow trucks is about seven years.

In 1990 Airport Towing and Burien Towing began purchasing new trucks instead of used equipment. With the purchase of a medium duty truck, a flatbed, and a new light duty unit, we greatly changed the image of our company. Buying new gives us the advantage of outfitting the trucks properly so that they are efficient for the type of work we need them to do. By doing this we can greatly increases our fleet’s reliability and versatility. One of our primary goals is customer satisfaction, and we have never had a customer complain about riding in a new unit with the new car smell.

As soon as this tow truck hits the road, we will turn our focus toward upgrading to a brand new medium duty tow truck, adding a tractor for towing semi trailers, and replacing our remotely controlled self-loader, which is capable of picking up vehicles without the driver having to exit the cab of the truck. We appreciate our customer loyalty that has allowed us to properly maintain our fleet in spite of a poor national economy and we take pride in investing our profits back into the company so that our customers receive the best possible service our industry can provide.
